The Museum also has a secondary website, on Google, easily found using Google Maps.

to go direct to it, where there are more views of the museum and regular postings of new photo memories from our huge collection archives.

It also connects very nicely to

Google Maps on your phone.

The Main Hall, shown here left, hosting one of our frequent Family History events.  The hall can be configured with tables down the centre if required. We can also deploy a projector screen at either end, with seats for 40 viewers.

Seats can be placed in the main hall for a film show or presentation, and the tearoom used for your refreshments.

The Tea Room, shown here to the right and left, can likewise be configured to different arrangements.  Here on the right with tables in the centre for a large buffet, with plenty of separate seating around the sides. Alternatively, more informally, as for a small party.

The last picture shows the serving hatch, which leads through to the kitchen.

Each room can be used to complement the other.

Please note that the museum room itself, not shown here, is separately locked and is not part of any hire.

The Old School today,

which also houses a

small folk history museum,

ideal for those smaller, more

'homely' family gatherings,

say for a Silver or Golden Wedding, family re-union,

or even for a

smaller funeral tea.

Around two dozen can easily sit down for tea in the main hall, and use the tables in the 'tearoom' to lay out a 'serve yourself' buffet.

The kitchen facility includes a main oven, a fridge, the use of several teapots, kettles, and a full range of crockery and cutlery.  Between the kitchen and the dining room/tea room

is a serving hatch.  It's very easy to do your own catering

in this kitchen, indeed, the museum volunteers do so regularly for special

events and weekends.
